Saturday, Feb 12th members of the Rogers High School Girls Hockey Team spent the afternoon giving back to their community. The soldiers from the United States Army Reserves Delta Battery ADA 216 based out of Monticello, MN are coming home from Iraq in a few weeks and their families needed our help. The unit put together a Kids Fun Day at the Monticello Community Center for all of the kids who's parents have been serving our country. We helped to chaperone the event! There was *swimming *games * snacks & *movies. We will also be helped to make Welcome Home signs! While the kids were busy playing, the adults were meeting to get all of the details of their loved ones arrival. Royals Girls Win Home Opener |
