Coach
Childers is looking
forward to leading a
great group of girls
and continuing
to building what has
become a very proud and
strong program.
Scott Childers will
taking over the RHS
Girls Hockey summer
coaching duties
including the STP
program. The program
will run as planned with
all the same hours and
scrimmages. Coach Heidi
Thorndahl, Tim Lloyd and
a 3rd coach (to be named
soon) will also
be working with Coach
Childers this summer.

The new
Rogers Royals high school locker
rooms are under construction!
For those who are not familiar with the project, we received a Hennepin County grant for $50,000 to finish out the locker rooms in January. The boys and girls rooms are being finished with community support and labor worth an additional $30,000. The new rooms will have first class showers, toilets, new baltic birch lockers and new rubber floors. We were very fortunate to get a successful grant application approved in the first round of a program that is funded through a tax on the new Twins stadium. We will host a walk-through tour when completed in July and a proper dedication this fall when the season is set to start, thanks to all that have donated their time and effort to this project. RRFOBC Annual Golf Benefit and Silent Auction! at Fox Hollow Golf Course
It would be FABULOUS if every family could either put together a foursome or find a foursome to sign up! v Maybe you could invite your Mom, Dad, Grandma and/or Grandpa to golf with you? v Make it a day to bond with your brothers or sisters? v Maybe your boss would be willing to golf or let you take some customers golfing while he foots the bill? v Almost everyone knows someone who golf’s!
In addition to golfers, we need volunteers to: v Collect donations and/or put together gift baskets for the silent auction. v Help find and secure golfers.

work the day of the event.
