Dear Face-Off Members and High School Hockey Parents We want to invite you to get involved in the shaping the future of Rogers High School Hockey. Our booster organization is approaching the completion of its first year and we have made good progress in helping Rogers High School Hockey get the support it needs to become a great program. We have raised nearly $14,000 in our first year to support both the girls and boys teams. While we still have a balance of $5,800 we will need your support to make our second year even better than the first. Below are some of the ways we have helped support Rogers Hockey program in the first year. How we spent the money: · Salary for 2 Coaches (third coach for both boys and girls is not paid by the school) · Hotel rooms in Alexandria for girls tournament · Web Site registration and support · Food at Parent meetings and team dinners · Boys hockey bags (40) · Boys royals unity flag · Printing of programs and schedules · Printing cost for girls playbook · Water bottles and captain C's for girls team · Jerseys for school display case, Excel Center and new Applebee’s restaurant in Rogers · Cash contributions for boys and girls end of year banquets · Expenses for fund raising efforts including replica Jersey, magnetic schedules etc. given to booster members upon joining How we made the money: · Corporate sponsors who advertised in the program · Booster Club membership · Poinsettia fund raiser · Zimmerman Thunder booster club donation · Rockin Rogers Days · Silent golf auction at Youth Hockey event At our next Board meeting September 8th (Rogers Community Center 7:30pm) we will be holding elections for the Vice President, Treasurer, Boys Director and Girls Fund Raiser.
